The Cricketers has a huge garden located at the side of the pub, backing on to open fields and safely enclosed by fencing for children to play freely in the Summer months. It also has a children’s play area with ropes, tyres & bridges.

The garden is the perfect place to enjoy a family meal in the Summer or just to relax with a drink and enjoy the outdoors. You can find shelter under the tree or from the pub's table umbrellas

 

 

Weston attracts many walkers and visitors throughout the Year and the garden is a popular spot to relax and refresh after a walk around the village or surrounding Hertfordshire countryside. We have welcomed walking parties for a number of years at the Cricketers – it is possible to arrange for walking parties to park at the pub and pre-order their food before a walk so it can be freshly prepared for their return. Please speak to Tony if you lead a walking group and would like to arrange a walk around Weston.

 

 

There is also a flood lit Petanque Piste in the garden which is used by the Cricketers Petanque Team in the Summer but can be hired out privately on request. There is ample car parking at the Cricketers with easy access to the Pub and Garden. We have a covered, heated Smoking Area to the side of the Pub for those chosing to smoke in the Summer or indeed Winter months.
