Food is served at the Cricketers daily and you can choose to dine in the bar area, dining area or large, popular garden.  The public bar area has an open fire with wooden floor and has a relaxed and informal feel to chat to friends or enjoy a snack and a drink.  It is decorated in a traditional style with pictures of local people and places of interest. The dining area is similarly decorated with a traditional feel but offers a more warm and cosy atmosphere to enjoy a quiet meal or drink.  Similarly, there are pictures of local people and cricketing memorabilia from Weston’s long history of the game.  Wherever you choose to eat you will be looked after by our friendly and attentive staff.

Our main menu offers some traditional pub favourites including fresh Fish & Chips (served daily & also served to Takeaway); our own Cider-baked Ham, Egg & Chips; Homemade Pie of the Day; Wholetail Scampi & House Curry.  Our lunchtime Snack Menu includes a large selection of Sandwiches made with Local Fresh Bread; Jacket Potatoes & our popular Ploughmans.  On Sunday we serve a choice of Traditional Sunday Roasts together with other hot dishes. Everything on our menu is home cooked using trusted local suppliers.

 

Our Dining area is the perfect place for a private function, seating approximately 24, or a more informal buffet suitable for Christenings or Celebrations.  Tony, our Manager, would be happy to discuss your personal requirements.  On a warm Summer’s Day our large, enclosed beer garden is the perfect place to bring children and relax under the tree with a drink while they play in the play area.  Food is served wherever you choose to sit, just place your order at the bar and go and unwind.
